After the sunset, the island heats up to furnace levels with our amazing selection of nighttime hotspots. Whether your body craves for the sweet and sassy moves of salsa, soca or merengue, you want to ‘wind and grind’ to the latest dance tunes, chill out to some serious island reggae or rock out and shake it all night long, we’ve got it all! Maho is without doubt the center of the action with two world-renowned nightclubs. For those that want to dance under the stars in one of the most beautiful spots on the island then discover Bliss, located in the Caravanserai Resort at the end of the airport runway.

If you prefer a roof over your head then Tantra is the place to hot foot it to – located above the Casino Royale on the main Maho drag. Both clubs start hotting up around midnight and are both home to a host of international DJ’s especially throughout high season. The faithful piano bar never decreases in popularity and you have two great ones to choose from – Sopranos on the second floor of the Sonesta Maho complex and The Red Piano in the Pelican Resort. The latter has a piano that accommodates dancing on…the red piano of course! Then there are endless beach parties across the island.

What better than dancing under the full moon with the sand between your toes? Check La Bamba in Simpson Bay, and a seemingly endless array of sandy dance floors along Orient Bay in high season including Boo Boo Jam, Waikiki, Kontiki and Bikini (anything with 2 i’s and a k in its name will guarantee a great night!) The live music venues are the place to start however – just to get warmed up with some of our local talent. Just remember, here in St Martin/St Maarten we party like rock stars and our hips don’t lie!
